About the Book
I Am Sitting On My Glasses is Ms. Leister’s second volume of poetry. Like her previous book, it is divided into six segments. The first segment, Laugh Lines, invites the reader to share her humorous view of life. Romp through Kid Stuff with Ms. Leister as she shares the joy and anguish of raising a large family. Life Lines is a collection of insightful thoughts about many subjects. Love Lines will remind the reader of the tenderness and heartbreak that is a part of loving. About the Author
Ms. Leister lives independently at Menno Haven Retirement Community where she is deeply involved in volunteer work. Because she believes that no one should die alone, she sits with the dying in the Community nursing home. She enjoys helping to update and computerize the community library.
Lois Anderson Leister has received numerous awards and citations for her poetry, including first prize in sonnet, quatrain, ballad, and many subjective contests.
Her biography appears in issues of International Who’s Who in Poetry, International Authors and Writers Who’s Who, and Who’s Who of American Authors.
