Freddy the Frog is a story in rhyme about a frog’s desire to be in the zoo, but the zoo won’t accept just any old frog. As it turns out, Freddy is not an ordinary frog; he’s actually quite special. Follow Freddy’s rhyming story as he reveals his hidden talents and true colors.
About the Author
Linda Gibson was born in Linda originally wrote this story for a class assignment in elementary school. Over the years she enhanced the story, modified the rhyme, and 35 years later Freddy the Frog comes to life thanks to the creative illustrations by Carolyn A. Stroud. About the Illustrator Carolyn A. Stroud had a career in the health science field until her recent "career adjustment". Painting has always been a sideline interest and her work is primarily for friends and relatives. She studied with local artist both here and while traveling abroad, though she is largely self-taught. “Embarking on this collaborative effort was an exciting undertaking. When given the opportunity to help navigate Freddy along on his adventures it quickly became a labor of love from start to finish. This book is the first offering in what we hope will be a fun experience for both you and your child. Then, let's see where Freddy goes next and who he'll meet along the way, shall we?”
