About the Author
Carroll E. Redwine was born in the last years of the great depresson, he grew up in the dust bowl years of the southwest's worst drought in our nation's history and observed five declared wars and a police action that should have been declared a war. His family considered education and a strong belief in God to be extremely important to the to the well being of the individual and the Nation. Born in a dirt floor, two room cabin; he and his siblings are living proof that this country, its freedom to excel in all areas, and the intestinal fortitude of its determined people have been and will continue to be a beacon of light for a happy, kind, and considerate planet, where all peoples can exist together peacefully with equal opportunities in all areas of life. His story and those he chooses to tell in this short history of his family, most readers will find refreshing and although sometimes serious, nearly always comical.
