To eat our favorite fowl, we'll probably need a towel.

We're loading up our plates.
We eat until it hurts, and then we eat desserts.

Now dinner's done and we're excused.

There's college football on, and soon we start to yawn.

About the Book
It all started innocently enough. Again the LaFont family would
meet in the basement of Richmond Community Church to celebrate
Thanksgiving. With Dad and Mom, their four grown daughters and
their families, the mob was more than any one house could hold.
After enjoying a delicious meal we began to search for something to do
but this year no one was interested in board games. With
Christmas music playing in the background, Glenna, the eldest sister,
remarked that it was a shame that Christmas was the only holiday with
it's own music. And with that innocent statement, Turkey Caroling
came into being. Using traditional Christmas Carol tunes,
Thanksgiving words were set to music. And thus a tradition was
born!
About the Author
Turkey Carols is a compilation of fun Thanksgiving songs born in the
hearts (and slightly warped minds) of 23 family members ranging in age
from 1 year old to 67 years old. The book was born out of a deep
love of music and a loose grip on sanity. Each contributing
member is proud to call Turkey Carols their first published work and it
is their hope that you will sing along and serenade your family and
friends just as they did that first Thanksgiving several years ago.
