“Do those tears belong me?” Justin asked as a startled Katie turned around, shocked to see Justin standing there. She quickly wiped the tears from her face, looking up into Justin’s eyes.
“What are you talking about,” Katie lied, and she became squeamish? “Justin?” Katie asked, Justin walked over and stood in front of her “Are you ok?” She asked as he looked down into her eyes. It was hard for her to stand in the bedroom with Justin, he was so handsome. Controlling her feelings was becoming more difficult by the second as he stood there, looking down into her eyes.
“No,” Justin said as he pulled Katie into his arms. “I am now,” he said as he kissed her passionately. His kiss was strong and passionate; she could taste him within her mouth, his hands pulling her so tight to him. His body began to react to her closeness as she felt her own body rubbing up against his hardness. God, he looked so good in that tux, she could barely breathe, and his embrace was warm and inviting. She felt her hands rubbing up on his chest, pulling him closer to her. Was it the alcohol from the night previous that was still linger within her senses.
“No,” Katie said pulling away from his embrace. “The
wedding kiss was our last kiss,” Katie said softly looking up into
Justin’s eyes. “you’re married now and,” she paused, starting to take
off the wedding rings that Justin placed on her hand, he stopped her by
grabbing and holding her hand. “I’ll be getting married in about two
and a half weeks myself,” Katie said as she smiled up into his blue
eyes “I only wish I could have met you a few years ago,” she said
walking back over to the large window, not looking back at Justin. The deadly silence in the room spoke for itself. Justin turned and unlocked the door, slowly leaving, God, how he wished the same, stopping, looking back at her one last time. She was beautiful, standing there in that wedding dress. He
wanted to race over to her and beg her to stay, but he knew she
wouldn’t, he turned, closing the door behind himself as he left her
room. Katie felt the tears burning at her
eyes. “I love you,” she whispered to herself. “I’ll miss you very every
day of my life,” Katie cried. She left the rings on her finger that Justin so lovingly placed there, as did Justin leave on the ring she put on his finger.
“Thank
you, Thomas,” Justin said with a smile, while they stood outside
watching some of the people eating, while others danced to the music. Thomas was drinking some beer, as he stood talking with Justin.
“For what?” Thomas asked, taking a drink, and then looking at Justin in an odd way.
“For letting me borrow your fiancée,” Justin said as Thomas laughed.
“It was totally up to her, you know,” Thomas said as they continued to talk. “It
was like a fairy tail wedding for her you know, there’s no way we could
ever have such a lavishing wedding, I’m sure she’s very happy,” Thomas
said smiling.
“I
was wondering,” Justin said looking at Thomas “if you two would stick
around, I’m sorry for holding you up on the fourth of July, but it’s
late, I would be willing to put the two of you up here for the night?” Justin asked "I mean it looks funny when the bride hurries away with another man,” Justin said as they both laughed. “There’s the cake cutting, the garter, you know?” Justin asked, hopeful.
