I cannot believe the time has come. It seems as if an eternity has passed since we began. It’s only been a few months since we decided to take the risk and make this attempt. The calmness I feel is difficult to understand considering what is about to unfold. This feeling seems unnatural. I suppose I can attribute my present state of mind to the traumas I’ve experienced throughout the course of my life. So many in fact, I can no longer feel what a normal human being should, in the midst of a situation such as this. Have they jaded me so much... with their shows of force, their brainwashing techniques, methods of sensory deprivation and extended periods of solitary confinement that I am no longer capable of normal feelings? Just how much of it did they expect me to accept and be subjected to, before I found a way strike back? How long did they expect me to endure this nightmare? They have truly earned what will be set upon them, if they don’t adhere to the reasoning we are prepared to confront them with. I refuse to allow them to imprison me a moment longer without demonstrating my ability to defend the rights they have so blatantly disregarded and twisted into a weapon to torture me.
The Justice system! Justice for whom? The rich - the politically influential and publicly recognized, perhaps. Not for thousands upon thousands of us who remain imprisoned behind these walls. There was no truth or justice in the courts of law where I received my sentence. They refused to acknowledge the truths, then. They will hear and understand them soon.
We’ll see how much their popularity and money can do to prevent what they will experience, if they refuse to hear what we are prepared to present to them when the time comes. Let them experience a taste of what we, inside these walls and bars, embrace everyday of our existence.
All through childhood I’d been taught that it is every man’s responsibility to provide for, protect and secure his family, and the home he’s worked to build. I had been taught that the
One of the biggest lies I can recall being taught through school, was the one about a person being presumed innocent until having been found guilty of the crime as accused. The second lie being how his innocence or guilt is to be decided by a jury of the person’s peers?! And the third, most outright lie, is the one of how we pay our debts to society for the wrongs we may have committed, then continue on with our lives. It has taken many years of struggling to understand why these things I’d been taught to be true, are not. Now, after realizing the lies I’ve discovered, I will demonstrate to them how I can make them aware of the wrongs done to me, and others like me, and give them the opportunity to correct their wrongs. The choice will be theirs. At least I’ll have proof, if it comes to a more forceful method of defense. I won’t allow them to twist this into another lie used to deceive the people of this country.
My family raised me to discern what is right from that which is wrong. I was taught to think over each decision I had to make, to determine whether or not the course of my actions would affect others, and to avoid causing grief to any other human being. My Great Grandmother used to tell me, “ As long as you feel you are doing right, son, no-one can ever MAKE you wrong. If it feels good in your heart and you truly believe it to be for the good, never let any one stand in your way. Fight for what you believe to be true and good!” When she would tell me things like this, there would always be a fire in her eyes I never quite understood... until now. Then, her voice would soften and she would lift my chin with her little wrinkled up fist and look straight into my eyes, and tell me, “But, if you are wrong, admit that you are. Be a man about it and don’t cause anyone else misery for your actions. It’s a hard thing for a boy to admit when he’s done wrong. So, promise me you’ll always try to do the right thing. If you’re not certain don’t be afraid to ask. No one ever gets hurt for asking, then you’ll know the right thing to do.” Great Grandma, however, could not foresee the direction society has taken.

The cause of this recent decision came about when several ambitious Northern Illinois University students discovered conflicting facts obtained and manipulated during the course of a man’s trial; a man who had for those reasons, been sentenced to die. Their discovery led to the investigation, which from that point on, rocked the Illinois Judicial System and brought the attention of the entire country upon those who have operated under this facade of civilized “Justice” throughout the past several decades. This is a System that has been developed to target and destroy a countless number of lives and families, in the alleged “Interest of Justice”.
“Society’s Creation - Our Intervention” parallels the reality of the effects the “BEHAVIORAL MODIFICATION PROGRAM” has had on society by taking its readers into the very bowels of what Society has been manipulated into believing is a solution, or deterrent, to crime. Although this story has been created for your entertainment, the circumstances involved in its creation, concerning how the Halls of Justice operate and the attitudes, principles, and moral values demonstrated and exercised foremost in the characters of our Political figure heads today, will seem most familiar. I have invited several of my past acquaintances along, to aid in defining a more realistic atmosphere. You may recognize them, or their particular personalities.
Prisons are not a solution to crime. Nor are they a civil deterrent. Society is!!! Until the people of this country stop turning their backs on the problem and begin exercising and teaching our youths moral values, and instilling reasonable principles become common practice, what I have depicted within the pages of “Society’s Creation - Our Intervention” may soon become a reality.

Kevin was raised in the greater
When Kevin was fifteen, his Mother, under psychological distress, chose to dispose of her responsibility, by requesting a judge to commit him to a juvenile halfway house. Thus began Kevin’s indoctrination into the “Humanities Machine”. It was quite a shock for him to suddenly be counted with all that he had been taught was wrong and evil. He became very adept at escape.
Not having a good role model to follow, at the age of nineteen, Kevin again found himself in trouble. He was sentenced to no less than 18 months for burglary. Because of his previous history as a juvenile, Kevin was sent to maximum security prison in
Riding the roller coaster of emotion brought on by his life experience, Kevin, acknowledges that he became bitter and angry. Kevin was free for eight months and 3 days before being framed by local authorities. They agreed that they were responsible for “removing him from society”. Kevin escaped from their “escape-proof”
Kevin was framed again by local authorities and spent another eleven and one half years fighting for an evidentiary hearing. During his time on the “inside”, Kevin created his own ‘family”, and settled into the routine of prison life. He was a founding member of the Menard Brotherhood Motorcycle Club.
In March of 2000 Kevin was again picked up for selling his birthday gift (a shotgun which he couldn’t legally own) at a local pawnshop. His release date is March of 2008. This book, written by Kevin, is being marketed to generate funds for his re-establishment into society.
