About the Book

            When KaTrina finds herself at loose-ends for the day, she searches out her best friend, a bear named Marshmallow.  The time they spend together, and the adventures they share captivates the imagination.  On this day, they spend their time watching the clouds in the blue sky.  Their conversations reveal the depth of the commitment they have to their friendship.  Come spend a day with KaTrina and Marshmallow Bear.

About the Author

T. P. Weyerman was born and raised in California.  Education was a big part of her life.  Her Mother was a teacher and so was her Mother’s parents.  She graduated from college with an Associates degree at the same time as she married.  When her children started to arrive, she opted to be a full-time, stay-at-home Mom.  Her children love the time they share together.

            When her second daughter was born, there were complications that necessitated many hospital visits.  It was during these long hospital stays that the Marshmallow Bear stories came to be.  During any medical procedure, to divert her daughter’s attention, T. P. Weyerman would tell her daughter stories, starring a girl named KaTrina and her favorite stuffed bear named Marshmallow.  The stories were a success in their intent, and her daughter would beg her for more.  Now, it seems only fair that what was a gift from mother to daughter, be shared with other spirited girls and boys.
