About the Book

I pray that as you read this book that each poem will minister something to you. I want you to know that each poem was written in deep thought. Most of the times these words sprung up out of intense moments of fellowship. I’d strike pen to paper and begin to pour out my heart. Within these pages there are many different variety of poems. Poems for children, poems of love, poems to build, poems to help, strengthen and encourage. Each poem meant and still means something to me. Even now there are poems that I can reflect upon during certain times and a spring of joy will overshadow me.

These poems sprang from feelings, emotions I were facing and sometimes they were formed out of a deep thought that came to mind while working with children or walking outside and enjoying natures telescope. I’m reminded of a close friend of mines who has been encouraged and strengthened by these words. Many times I’d turn on my computer and find a message from her simply stating “I need a poem for this test” and God; just as good as he is would give me the words to write to her that would help her to make it to the next level. Through these poems my friend was encouraged as well as many others to endure and to go forth in the will of God. I know that once you get this book in your hands that you will find it difficult to put down because it is a book that speaks life to all who read it.

Many Blessings,

Jaazer Craig

About the Author

A prolific song and poetry writer, Jaazer has amassed a small volume of inspirational collections of psalms and short stories.  Her inspiration is divinely directed and touches the prophetic.  She has for many years used her gift to lift others and move them to find and fulfill their calling in God.  She is naturally empathic and her musings reach deep inside the reader’s heart to touch and heal hidden hurts, uncovered pain, and sorrow that threatens only enslavement.  From the very depths of her own experiences of deliverance and triumph, Jaazer’s poems and psalms are imbued with the essence of her own life, her trials, her tribulations, and the very hand of God.

A mother, wife, and spiritual leader, Jaazer has served her community in many and varied ways.  She has always been a magnet for those in her community in need of love and compassion.  Never one to say no, Jaazer uses her gifting to help others find their place in God, in the home, and at Church.  As a licensed Minister and Prophetess with Moving with a Vision Ministries, Jaazer has taught Sunday school, women’s Bible study, various people of the Bible, worship, and the very Gospel of Jesus Christ.  She is also the Praise and Worship leader at her Church and uses her particular gifts to empower others to lift up the name of the Lord through praise and worship.

A true student of the Bible, Jaazer lives what she sings and writes about.  Her personal life story is one of true humility, and faith in God.  Listen to her words, her story, her poems, and you will hear the story of a woman focused on God, a woman anchored in hope, a woman who has suffered but who has also learned what it means to be more than a conqueror.
