Have you ever had so much on your shoulders that you just felt like giving up? The weight got too heavy to bear. When this happens, it is like experiencing a memory lost. We forget how we got where we are in our lives today. All we can see are our problems and troubles, but we must remember we come this far by faith. Have you ever gone for a walk in an amusement park and you became so tired you had to stop and sit down and rest a while or lean on a wall or rail until you felt strength to move on and after resting for a while you gained a little more strength to continue the journey? That is how this Christian race is sometimes. It is like climbing a hill. You get tired sometimes. Sometimes you even look back and think about going back where you came from. God wants you to be encouraged today. He wants you to know that Jesus will be your leaning post. Rest a while if you must but don’t rest too long; keep moving for Jesus.

About the Author
Sunday School, Bible Study Teacher, Counselor and Minister of the Gospel for over nineteen years, Monique Veasley has been touching lives one by one since she came to know Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior. She has been happily married to Minister Robert Veasley for nineteen years and she is the mother of Keisha, Princess, and Gabriel.
She is an anointed vessel that God uses uniquely to touch lives that cause change through her witness and teachings. The way she approaches any ministry task reminds you of John the Baptist who cried in the wilderness, prepare ye the way of the Lord or Jeremiah who had to speak when God’s word became like fire shut in his bones. Her desire is to cause those who are seeking the truth to know that through God’s word, they can live victorious Christian Lives.
Monique was inspired by God in May of 2001 to start a unique outreach ministry via the Internet where she provides a Spiritual Breakfast for Christians as a resource to feed their spirits and empower them for their day. These Spiritual Breakfasts consist of Praise and Worship, a Word for Today and a Prayer for Today. This unique ministry is known as New Life In Christ Worldwide Internet Ministry @newlifeinchristministries.org. Many have been blessed through her teachings, counseling and prayers through this ministry. She now writes her third Spiritual Breakfast Devotional Book.
