Father
A father helps create which gives life form,
such as an innocent baby which is a blessing when born.
He must be strong for his young ones and protect them from all wrong.
He must be a great teacher by setting good examples and being positive in every way,
so his young ones may have priceless memories of the good old days.
He must be an angel like guidance over them
always helping them to walk in an easier path,
and design a great way for only love to flow in their hearts.
He must remain an open gateway,
where his children will run to him and never away,
so their bond remains unbreakable and their relationship never goes astray.
He must build a relationship with them by being an inspiration to them,
so they may see characteristics in him that they may someday want to be,
never based on material forms but only what is real.
He must instill good values in them so they will always have much to gain,
like much respect from others as oppose to a fountain of grief or pain.
He must be all that he claims to be,
never inflicting them with any form of pain,
so their trust in him will always remain and be without stain.
He must remain as real as the blood which joins them and flows through their veins,
always walking with his head up high
and proud to be called his name,
FATHER.

About the Book
Priceless Creations – This Life Of Mine is a compilation of poetry that was written as a hobby since 1990 to this present day. It deals with a variety of topics ranging from good and bad, happy and sad, joy and pain, love and hate, and much more. This book is very in depth and written on quite a personal level. The majority of the book is based on real experiences, desires, hopes, dreams and real feelings. It expresses and explains the truth of my life that I have lived in my short years and much of my inner feelings. My poetry carries a story into understanding me. I wish that my book of poetry will enlighten many people about the similar experiences that we sometimes share but are unable to express our feelings or find the right words to say or explain the way we may feel. My hope is for many individuals to be able to relate to many things they have faced in life, calm some of their fears, soothe some frustrations, know that there is hope after all, spark deep thoughts about life so many can move to understanding their depth of feelings, feel up lifted and most of all know that they are not alone. Our emotions can sometimes puzzle us, leaving us tongue-tied and unsure of how to allow ourselves to be exposed in the most honest and sincere manner. I believe Priceless Creations puts emotions into words.
