Be Love, Beloved
See Love, not seek Love.
For the seeking heart
finds its own hidden holes,
not a heart courageous and bold.
Speak Love, not ask for it.
For the asking heart
requests what it cannot give.
Gifts of truth and acceptance make Love live.
Be Love, not yearn for Love.
For the yearning heart
devours its Lover unknowingly,
making nourishment for its own needs.
Be Love and you are Beloved.
You are the Fruit and you are the Seed.
Be Love, Beloved.
Let this be your Creed. t
Fight, Flight and Light
We can wage a war, based on treatment we’ve received.
We can launch a campaign for unmet needs we grieve.
We can look for any savagery and scarcity we perceive.
We can unleash our trained attack dogs—
Fear and Hatred, who hide behind masks unseen.
Humans know how to attack or flee from whatever it is we fear,
an instinct to Fight or take Flight whenever danger’s near.
