About the Book

Mattie is a little boy who uses his imagination to solve his problems.  His imagination leads him into his very own back yard for an illuminating solution. On another day, Mattie uses his resources to alter the sun''s rotation so he can experience the magic of a summer day that would never quit.  Come join Mattie and see where his imagination leads him!

About the Author

Dianna Lynn Johnson lives in Bloomington, Indiana with her husband and three sons.  Her inspiration to write comes from motherhood. The Mattie books are inspired from a picture her oldest son, Matt drew in preschool.

About the Illustrator:

Mona Alena Thoresen is an art teacher in Elk Mound Wisconsin.  She began drawing at the early age of three.  Her long time dream has been to illustrate a children’s book.
