We Did Our Job

   When it was over we counted 67 bodies, I am sure some got away.  We had eight wounded and Sergeant Brown was dead.

   I will say that Sergeant Brown was the most hard working, intelligent and kindest man I have ever known.

   Sergeant First Class Lenox was wounded in the leg and back, Slim was hit bad, he had holes all over him but he was still alive.  Fourth Platoon medic was hit in both legs, one of the Navy truck drivers was hit in the shoulder, and lower jaw.  The other four wounded were minor injuries.
