A native of Mississippi, Annie Myrtle Deas now lives in Vorea, New York. She has been married to Cecil Deas for more than 50 years and is the mother of three adults, grandmother of seven and recently became a great-grandmother. Both daughters are pastors’ wives in Upstate New York, and son, Cecil Mack Deas, Jr., works for New York Life in Maine. An alumna of Moody Bible Institute, Deas taught Sunday School for 55 years and still teaches as a substitute and speaks at women’s retreats. She served as a counselor at a Crisis Pregnancy Center where she first encountered some of the issues addressed in this book.
