About the Book

“Start each day with a high protein meal and you’ll start to feel a difference in no time.  You’ll have more energy and you’ll be on the road to weight control and better health.”

                                                                                                            Laurie Di Palma

In this simple, unique cookbook, nutritionist Laurie Di Palma explores America’s nationwide trend of skipping breakfast.  She discusses what happens to our bodies when we skip meals, and illustrates the connection between poor nutrition and low energy, poor academic achievement, excess weight, and disease.

A working mother of four, Ms. Di Palma tested each recipe on her most discriminating critics: her children.  Together, the family evaluated recipes for their taste, nutritional value and ease of preparation.  The result is a delightful collection of menus your entire family will love.
