About the Author
Linda C. Murray grew up on a small dairy farm in central Kentucky and made the farm her playground. One of her favorite places to play was the barn where her dad milked the cows and where the other animals made their homes. She became interested in writing after she became a Fellow of the 1994 Kentucky Writing Project. Kittens’ Day Out is her first book.
Linda is a 1968 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a Master of Arts degree in Education. Having taught senior high school for thirty plus years, she draws many of her experiences from her years in the classroom as well as her life on the farm.
She lives near Lexington, Kentucky, with her Cocker Spaniel, Simba. She is the mother of four children and eleven grandchildren.
