Excuse me,
May I have a little bit of your time
To share what’s on my mind
About the accounts of the crime
Which happened to some people of mine.
What I witnessed with my eyes
Would cause anyone to cry,
Scream, shout as you whisper goodbye.
But stay strong, you must try.
Listen to what I have to say.
And try, if you can, to keep the tears at bay.
It occurred the other day.
A young child was led astray.
By an adult telling him, there was no way.
Where’s the misdeed?
To make a child believe, he couldn’t be.
Taking away the dreams, killing the seed.
Now…do you see?

About the Book
The author has taken his viewpoint of life and its events, in particular those dealing with the dynamics of relationships, and placed them here in a poetic expression to draw you into conversation.
