What is a woman’s well? How does it run dry? Can it be replenished? If so, how long will it take? These questions and more are attempted to be answered in the few short chapters of this book. In the 4th Chapter of the book of John, he gives an account of a woman that met Jesus at the well. The Bible did not mention her name so I gave her the generic name Sisterella. I called this woman Sisterella because she is one of us—a sister. She is a sister that had issues that drained her self-respect and leave her at a point of no return. She is a sister that is just like you and me--looking for happiness and wholeness in God.
God created women to be emotional, nurturing beings. Therefore, women are delicate and fragile by design. God also gave women the ability and stamina to be multi-tasked driven creatures. Some women can work two jobs, go to school at the same time and still raise their children. The tug between working to making a better life for her children and loosing self-identity---staying at home, is often times a “no-win” situation.
If she works, less time is spent bonding with the children. Nike, Adidas and video games replace the mother’s absence with a few hours of gratification but not satisfaction. Missing football games and cheerleading exhibitions can be disappointing to the child.
If she does not work, is she sending a message that the woman’s place is only in the home? Is she showing her daughters that they cannot aspire to become engineers, doctors, lawyers or even president of the
We will not mention spouses who feel that their career is more important and are not supportive. Nevertheless, the wife is expected to attend all of his company functions but he gawks when it is her turn to network with potential clients.
All of the above mentioned and more can be physically draining on a woman. This causes a woman’s well to run dry. As you read the book, we will look at Biblical examples in the Bible to search for answers. What you are about to read is not the only way to find a sense of balance in life, but through God’s grace and compassion, you may discover how to keep your well full.

About the Book
The purpose of this book is designed to help women quench their thirsts. We know how to quench our physical thirsts with the waters of the flesh (i.e. lusts, greed etc.) and the world (i.e. money, success, position etc.) Since we are not just made of physical parts, the spiritual part will remain unsatisfied until we drink from the Living Water, which is Jesus.

About the Author
