About the Author

Carl Pipoly - Attorney

After graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Denver, Carl Pipoly earned his law degree from the University of Denver College of Law in 1980. He then went to work for Conoco Oil Company, where he was responsible for negotiating and drafting joint venture agreements with French, German, and Japanese companies, covering multimillion-dollar exploration and minerals production facilities in the United States, Canada, South America, and Africa.

Pipoly founded Pipoly Law Offices in 1989 after selling Conquista Project Corporation, a company he founded in 1985. In his law practice he has represented thousands of homebuyers in many different kinds of claims.  He has tried over 100 cases to verdict before a jury.

He is a member of the Texas and Colorado bars; the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas and the Colorado District; and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Seventh Circuits.  A member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the San Antonio Trial Lawyers Association, he is recognized as an Advocate with the National College of Advocacy. 

An accomplished athlete, Pipoly successfully swam the English Channel in 1980 and was a champion bicycle racer. He is married and has four children.
