Cronus raised his hand. “Stop right there. Fifteen years at the longest. My prediction is that the oxygen level will soar above twenty-five percent with the damage to the algae and plankton. Causing the surface of the planet to burn out of control. Spontaneous combustion!”
Alexander stared with guilt at Cronus, “Just return home to Andromeda?”
Cronus was quite sad. “We can’t do that. We don’t fit in there. Jupiter? That arrogant egotist would colonize the universe if he had the time and resources. And we’re not going to help him in his quest to set up the transport window to earth. No way. He’s out, you’re in.”
“If you disdain, loathe, your own federation Cronus? And a private corporation TacTech has the most influence over this vast federation. How are we to think that the high levels of corruption there have any interest here? And why do I even know about TacTech? I’m not sure that I get it.”
Cronus was quite somber. “We had to show you that we’re from someplace real. We were born to wonder. But we’re from someplace that’s real. Jupiter can’t get here from there without our help. He wants to show the Federation what he’s capable of.”

About the Author

His undergrad degree is in psychology with many iterations of technolog to follow; first, 1970’s Software Engineer, RCA Computer Corp, then IBM Mainframe Systems Sofware Sales; then, 1980’s National Account Manager for RCA Global Communications; finally, 1990’s to the present an independent internetworking consultant, forming his own business in 1995.
