About the Book

The fast paced societal changes of the last several decades have caused each generation to move farther outward into our external world and away from our internal world. Today, we find ourselves in spiritual trouble! We are in danger of losing our Ancient Memory which contains our spiritual identity. This continual, inherited loss of memory is creating internal feelings of emptiness and loneliness that nothing in our external world is able to fill.

Dr. Fran was told by an Ancient Voice she refers to as the Woman of the Ages that women have changed and society has changed along with them. That seemingly simple statement led Dr. Fran to write an Ancient Story that serves as a blueprint for how to live an internally and externally balanced life simultaneously. The beliefs that make up Dr. Fran’s Inside-Out Mindset, also derived from the Ancient Story,  help maintain our  spiritual balance by keeping our attention focused inward.

This book is a call to the hearts and minds of women of all ages to gather together to discuss the many universal insights contained in Woman of the Ages  and to share their life stories. This call is directed to women because according to the Ancient Story, the internal world is woman’s natural domain. Dr. Fran believes it is time to reclaim what is naturally ours. Through the revival of our universal roles as Spiritual Guides and Keepers of the Flame we will contribute to our Feminine Collective Consciousness, strengthen our Intuitive Sense of Knowing, and take part in ushering in a period of time when we will all experience Paradise here on earth, right where we are, because of who we truly are.

About the Author

Frances M. Pastoria Psy.D. is the author of  Woman of the Ages, Being Authentically Me and Trapani. Dr. Fran practices as a spiritual life counselor. She is also a lecturer, life strategist, parent educator, group facilitator and conducts workshops based on her books. At age sixty when friends were retiring and simplifying their lives Dr. Fran challenged herself and her marriage by starting college, disrupting long established marital patterns. Six years later, she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Behavior Psychology, her Masters of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology, and her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.

Dr. Fran was a traditional “fifties” Midwestern homemaker, living in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan. Along with tending to the needs of a loving husband and four children, she was an active community leader with numerous charities to run, parent groups to facilitate, girl scouts to lead, projects to create, dinner to make, clothes to iron and family and friends to care for. Fran loved her life and yet she sensed that something crucial was missing. At the age of forty-seven she had a phenomenal spiritual experience that connected her to a loving Source of energy so powerful that it changed her life forever. She discovered that life is about learning lessons in how to love and be loved. The years that followed have been spent examining, understanding, integrating and deepening her transformational process.

In describing Dr. Fran, one could say that she is a master at integrating her spirituality into her everyday human life. As a life strategist she specializes in helping people develop a life plan that moves them forward in loving ways in order to deepen their relationship with themselves and others.

Dr. Fran is presently in private practice working with individuals, couples, families and groups. She lives in Studio City, California with her husband of fifty-seven years. They have four children, five grandchildren and her marriage is stronger than ever.
