About the Book

The magic touch of Tara’s Tales inspires the wonder  of one’s imagination.  When two trees break with the time honored traditions of the royal seasons and decide to be themselves, animals, birds and even the forests and hills have problems.  The trees talk with each other and decide to remain green, even when King autumn orders all trees to change color.  Tara’s Tales of Trees blends a surprise with action.  Readers may long remember the message of the two trees who refuse to change color.

About the Author

Encouraging the joy and wonder in children provides the inspiration for Tara’s Tales,  Trees.  Tara has worked and played with children of all ages.  She is the co-author of the book, I Always Knew I Was Different, concerning gifted and highly gifted children.  She has been a teacher in elementary and secondary schools.  In 2005, after a number of years, teaching at Keene State College, Tara was named Professor of Communication Emeritus.  Extensive travel, work and study in Europe, Asia and Africa have deeply influenced the universal themes of Tara’s Tales.
