About the Book
G A E L E N: princess - rebel - warrior
There was a time of which little is known, a strange time, a dark time. A time when savagery enveloped all of Europe. Gaelen was born during that time to a northern pagan native queen and a southern Christian king. Born into the ignorance of the darkest era of the Dark Ages, she matured in a world constantly at war, to become a rebel warrior princess when only the strongest, most ruthless men ruled for long. Still not much more than a child she was to try to carve out her kingdom in an era of kings and chiefs, fiefdoms and tribalism. She was to try to take and hold when numerous warring tribes, with swords in hand, waged close merciless battles throughout the realm.
Some reader comments: "It's such a great story, and has such great characters!"
"Even though this isn't the genre I generally read, I enjoyed the story . . .and had a hard time putting it down."
"Let me know as soon as the sequel comes out."
About the Author
Robert McLaws Miller is an author of a number of unknown and inconsequential technical publications. “Gaelen” was written in response to a 1200 year old cerebral implant in his family’s DNA. Five years ago in that soundless time just before light in troubled sleep she stirred him, riding her stallion forth from the final days of the Picts. Denied her place in history by the chauvinism of the past she pleaded that her story be told. Not to be denied, Robert tries the best he can. First a tale, then belief.
