About the Book
'Sentimental' is a diary of poetic photographs spanning years of enduring relationships, dipped in the everlasting dream of love.
Relationships take us through a rollercoaster of emotions. We go through each moment like photos in a picture album. This book embraces the romance and heartbreaks of relationships while painting a picture for the reader of the emotional impulses one may incur from a heart that lusts to love and to be loved. Each poem is like a letter or picture from the thoughts of a lover as he or she reveals their soul.
About the Author
From Chicago's west side, Cornell Jordan has been writing poetry since the age of 14 as a means to release his emotions. Cornell never really took his gift seriously until a high school teacher convinced him to submit one of his poems for a school poetry anthology. Receiving widespread admiration of his work, he took more care in improving his craft while still tracing his thoughts and emotions on paper. 'Sentimental' will mark Cornells' first book of poetry consisting of his earliest works to his latest achievements. Hoping to touch the hearts of many, Cornell hopes that 'Sentimental' will be something that everyone can relate to.
