About the Book
The Adventures of Jomo and Bubba are fun tales of a young boy and his trusted four legged friend Bubba. An only child and living in the country, Jomo was fascinated with animals, loved the outdoors and began writing poetry when he was five years old and included in this book are several of his early writings. He and his friend, Bubba formed a bond and together they explored the wide open countryside.
About the Author
Shirley, who is an Ordained Minister grew up in a small southern town and began writing at the age of sixteen as a means of expressing and understanding her own feelings. Through writing, she found that it brought clarity to her thoughts and her life. Joining the military at an early age, she enjoyed a wonderful career and traveled to far off places such as Amsterdam and Holland in the Netherlands, Western Germany, Venice Italy, Paris France, Turkey, Ireland, Quebec Canada and Mexico. By writing and distributing this book throughout the world, she hopes that these short stories touch the hearts and lives of children in every country, culture and give encouragement to young readers who might have a desire to write their own books. She is married to Minister Kenneth Brown, has one son, Jomo and two grandchildren.
