A CHILD OF INNOCENCE
The child of innocence is she lost forever
so unhappy and insecure
betrayed by those who professed to love her
but was not really sure
how sad is the lust of this world
that blinds the bonds of life
to cause so much pain in another’s heart
and fill their life with strife
Can the wounds be seared to heal the scars
and mend one so pure
to take away the hurtful scenes
caused be man made lures
the answer is yes, there is one who holds the keys
to restore a life of tragedies in spite of all the pain there is
in spite of all the doubt there is
someone that is so special and someone that is so true
someone whose waiting there waiting there just for you
The love of God can none compare and this world has no idea
how really sweet it is to have a love that is so dear
it removes the chains of fear away so you can learn to forgive
you may not ever forget the wrong but again you can learn to live
the savior cried out to the child no matter the price to be
for this is what the answer is so you may now be free
and now her life has been made whole
and held by one so dear never to feel that pain again
nor the hopelessness of her tears

A CROSS TO BARE
Our Lord and Savior we plead will you send your guiding light
so we may walk in your counsel and it will lead us in our plight
this is what our task must be and the cross that we must bare
to help the ones who need our help in a world that does not care
the morning dew is here and it whispers softly in the air
come see the newness of the day and be ware of the evil snares
forever Lord we shall praise you as the robin does when it sings
for you have given much to us and still have more to bring
looking to the best of life is greater than we can see
for you are constantly serving us from the table of victory
your son came to this earth just for this very end
to save the race of mankind who had lost their way through sin
let us bow down on our knees and pray redemptions prayer
for those who don’t will soon be lost and no one here will care
We should thank the Lord for eyes to see and for all the wonderful things
he has done for thee
for if in life we treasure all the gold we can conceive
in the end when death calls out to us will our longings be relieved
with these words the verse will end though the tide has been cast
that if we carefully watch ourselves our troubles soon will pass

About the Book
I have written this book in the hope of bringing to it’s readers a peace of mind in a world of uncertainties while attempting to encourage, to reassure and comfort the Inner-spirit within. In today’s world we are faced with so many different choices and decisions; some are good some not so good and some may even be or have been life threatening; yet sometimes choices can be very overwhelming putting us at a real loss (not all but most of us think.) Yet as life goes on we find out that it really was not a loss at all, but a real blessing because it made us do something different for our own selves. Life as everything else has rules and sometimes rules change as life changes. Unavoidably we have to change with it, (this is how unique we are made.) We adjust to the changes as we learn to accept life’s great order of things. Don’t get me wrong though, some of these changes are very uncomfortable and sometimes very scary. When we learn to walk through our fears and differences through faith then our lives become richer because of it. We have all ready been given the power to succeed, we are born with it but we have to first learn that it exist and then learn how to call upon it, to cultivate this gift we have been given inside from our creator. What we have to learn now is how to acquire the skills needed in order to tap into it; We possess a portion of faith within us given freely from a higher source much higher than ourselves.Life is all about change. Change is the very institution, act or grounds on which life’s foundation exist. We invite you all to come in and look with us to see what we will find there for you or for someone you might know, or that it may remind you of. You may even want to give someone you know a gift of this book of poetry. However thank you for the journey you have taken with me in this book and it is my hope that it will enrich your life for many years to come as it has mine in writing it.
