About the Book
As this author emerges out of her own oppression, every fiber of her being tingles with the truth that we are meant to live fully and joyfully. This story flows out of her as she awakens to the spirit within, bursting forth. A brief but engaging tale told through a wise Native American expressing who we are and are meant to be. The ideas will embrace you; elevating and encouraging you to ascend to your higher self.
About the Author
As a child, Carol remembers being naturally drawn to the earth. Later, she learned that her great great grandmother was a full-blooded Cherokee. She has been a single parent for the past 8 years. Her daughter Erika is a sophomore in college and Karley is in middle school. Carol has been an educator for the past 26 years, including work as an elementary teacher, counselor, and special education teacher.
Weavings of Wisdom was written and illustrated in 1999, after healing from her 17 year marriage. She is currently working on a more in-depth writing of her spiritual journey. Her future plans also include expanding into consultation services that would contribute to the empowerment of women.
