About the Author

Ella Kilbride was born in Albany, NY and raised in Scotland, UK by adoptive parents.  She first discovered her love of writing poetry at the age of ten, after winning a prize in competition for poetry entitled “Autumn.”  During her late teens Ella started collecting poems with the dream of making her own anthology, which has now been achieved.

Ella has worked in child care for several years and recently changed her career, as a social care worker for Edinburgh Council.  When Ella is not working or writing, she enjoys movies, theatre, cooking and swimming.
