INTRODUCTION
Oftentimes, we find that out of the deepest, darkest, most pain-filled times of our lives, a wonderful, awesome, relationship is born with our Creator.
In my late forties, after living some 10-12 years with acute alcoholism and the mental illness of Bi-Polar disorder, and the dying and later death of a thirty year marriage, I found that the God of my childhood, or rather the knowledge I had of Him was not enough to sustain me. I knew there just had to be more than the kind of relationship I had with Him. I began to seek with all my heart and being for a deeper communication with Him. I wanted Him to communicate with me. At this time two books fell into my hands.

After a couple of years of understanding, even knowing that God did indeed communicate with me by “dropping things into my knowing” but somehow by-passing my intellect, I struggled to understand His spiritual communication to me.
For some reason I just couldn’t retain what He was saying, without trying to put it into words in my mind, so that I could somehow get the complete understanding of these very personal things He was saying to me.
So I believe with all my heart that I was being, and still continue to be taught by Him to interpret His words to me into my understanding language. That is how this little book came into being.
It is over three years of journals that was communication between Him and I during some very dark times of my life, when there seemed to be no hope.
He does indeed communicate to ALL His people, it is just that we sometimes either aren’t listening, or expecting, or just plain do not understand His language.
My deepest desire is not that people share only my experience of how very personal He is with us, but you will also seek with all your hearts to experience it with Him for your self.
May He teach and lead you into a deeper, center relationship with Him regarding your own personal, everyday lives.
Jer. 29;13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with ALL your heart.

About the Author
Since eternity past God wove the tapestry of our lives. By living in this world, we began to snarl and tear many of the beautiful threads of His creation. His greatest desire is to communicate with His people on a level they can understand, even in everyday circumstances.
In the past few years I have seen the Co-Author knocked down time and time again in many trying situations. From dealing with acute alcoholism, to bi-polar disorder, a violent marriage, to the deaths of both parents in less than one year. Always I have seen her special relationship with her Lord pick her up and sustain her through these fiery times. She always says “prayer is 20% talking and 80% listening”. May you the reader be blessed with a new hunger to listen for His voice.
