Loveday
Sunday is a day of love to me. I might call it “Loveday”. Loveday is the day that God has set aside as being the most important. It is a day of giving love to God. Loveday is a day of showing love to each other by sharing time together, by sharing songs together, by playing and eating together. Loveday is a day for loving yourself, for setting aside the cares of the week, for taking time to give yourself pleasure and relaxation.
Make everyday Loveday. Set aside a part of each busy, busy, hectic day to give thanks to God for the day and His many blessings. Set aside time to love other people -- family, friends, and strangers. A smile, a wave, a kind word -- none of these things takes much time; however, they have such strong, strong effects. And save a part of each day for yourself. Take time for your favorite activities. Take time for rest. Take time to enjoy yourself.
Make each day a Sunday. Make each day a Loveday.
