About the Book

Most of us have a side table filled with family photos. Aly has one too. One evening as she passes by her table, she finds herself drawn to a picture. It captures her and before she knows it she is transported back in time, she is reliving the moment in the picture. Through this magical experience, she realizes that since the death of her husband, Marvin, she has been living her life through past memories or the anticipation of the future. Soon after, Marvin visits Aly in a dream and encourages her to follow her heart. With his encouragement, Aly shares her picture experience with her best friend Millie, and together they invent “The Picture Party.” Aly discovers how to live in the present and by doing that, she still has time to make a difference.

About the Author

Anna is a graduate of Heald Business College. She was employed as a steno/clerk by Southern Pacific Railroad for twenty-two years. When Southern Pacific started downsizing, her position was transferred from Northern California to Southern California. She and her husband concluded that moving was not an option, and she decided to accept a buyout. In her early teens, Anna was taught by her big brother, Harold, to meditate. Once again, she turned to her inner thoughts for direction.

During her search, Anna was gifted a trip to Egypt with a group of loving and generous like-minded friends. Experiencing the mysterious energies of the pyramids and various temples encouraged Anna to go deeper into herself. When she returned from her trip, she felt the urge to write. Six months later, with the love and support of her husband, her journey ended. She had rekindled her passion for story. She mixed it up with bits of personal events and loved every minute of it. She hopes you will too!
