Afterwards, she kissed him, again, in the most unforgettable way. He watched her leave, butt naked, out of his bedroom door. He laid there for the longest time wondering what the hell had just happened!
Finally, Marvin got up to shower, change into some fresh clothes, and went downstairs to the kitchen where Miss Ivy was ramblingly around. “Where is everyone at?” Marvin asked as he popped a grape into his mouth.
“They’re all at the festival.”
“Everybody?!” She nodded.
“Everybody, but you.”
“Are you sure?”
“Of course, I’m sure. I saw them leave. Now get out to the terrace and I will bring you something to eat.”
Marvin felt the cool breeze hit his face the moment he stepped out on the deck. He didn’t like what had happened earlier. After his mind cleared, and he thought about what took place, it angered him. He could have lost Katina forever if she had walked in on that risqué episode in his bedroom. Since the incident with Salina Sanchez, he was very careful not to do anything else to jeopardize his relationship with Katina. Salina had been with Melvin that day, and saw Katina coming, slipped slyly into his room and into his bed. He loved Katina and no longer had an interest in messing around with other females. Marvin didn’t want Katina messing around with anyone either and he had already beat the crap out of Tipp Clydesdale for that very reason. Melvin had to pull him off the guy or he might have killed him, just like he had wanted to do to Salina. It made him boiling mad and jealous to think Katina had slept with someone else. His emotions freaked him out and he realized again, how much he loved the woman-girl. Pure, raw, and uninhibited love and he didn’t want to lose it for nobody. What happened that morning could never happen again. That was the last time anyone would ever put him in that position. It should have never happened in the first place. He was angry with himself and with the uninvited female. He’d been down that road of sexual exploits and no longer wanted any part of it. He’d sown his wild oats and wanted to put that part of his life behind him. He would be entering the business world in the fall and he wanted to have his priorities straight. He was ready to grow up, become established in his profession and work on his and Katina’s future together. She had forgiven him once, but not twice and this time he wasn’t entirely innocent, but he wasn’t totally guilty either. He thought of his seducer and it sincerely puzzled him. Why would she do such a thing? He hadn’t flirted with the girl or given her any reason to think he was interested in her. He liked her only as a friend. She wasn’t even his type. One thing was for sure; his opinion of her had changed. That angelic image was nothing more than a facade. He used to be able to read people better than that, but she was mistaken innocence. One thing he did know, without a doubt, the girl was wicked in the bedroom.
