About the Book

Every choice reveals character, worldview, morality, belief and hope.  This book focuses the reader’s attention on these choices.  Its stories are about cars and faith, and invite the curious to discover the connection between the two.

That Jesus is Savior and Lord is the other contention of this work.  Given the political climate, many do not wish to be labeled “intolerant;” it is deemed scandalously exclusionary to insist Christ is the only Redeemer.

Some see Jesus’ claim to be “the way, the truth, and the life” as inappropriate.  This book makes it plain that just as “without faith it is impossible to please God,” without faith in Christ Jesus it is impossible to have either forgiveness or peace.

About the Author

Ever since his junior year of high school, when an outstanding English teacher encouraged him to develop a quality writing style, Daniel James Weitner has interpreted that gently-spoken persuasion as a challenge to eschew mediocrity.  During the past three decades, the author has honed his writing craft and put the resultant skills to good use, avoiding the pitfall of pedestrian prose with a modest degree of success.   As proof, he offers the following tongue-in-cheek analysis:  not one member of the congregations to which he has preached over that span has fallen asleep!  (He is a Presbyterian pastor.)  Tales from the Showroom, Showroom, the Road and the Junkyard is the author''s second published work.
