In Love and Because of Love is an outpouring of poems written within a period of 120 days echoing the poet’s fragmented fractured world following the death of her spouse. Kathy Campbell-Barton uses the written word to express emotions of loss, fear, and frustration ultimately synonymous with love for life.
The book embodies an attempt to begin a process of self-healing that leads to radically loving. Reflections of past experiences and relationships are articulated in a way that connects ordinary life with the spiritual.

About the Author
In Love and Because of Love is a passionate and revealing expression of the author’s most intimate thoughts. Kathy Campbell-Barton has composed verse and prose since the age of four. She refers to herself as a closet poet because her work has been primarily a recording of personal thoughts throughout her life. Her partner, artist Kent A. Barton, stimulated Kathy to compile a selection of her poetry into a book for publication.
