About the Book
This is one little boy’s story of triumph against the masses...of perseverance when all others have given up.... of hope in the face of utter despair.... Oh, frog freckles! This is one little kid’s story of making it out of childhood alive.
Thrill to his harrowing tales of facing down irate teachers and flustered parents! Cheer as he escapes certain death on the horns of an enraged mother cow! Gasp as he learns that a pond isn’t always the best place to swim! Cringe at his first youthful attempts at science with the minister’s tree! Wipe a tear of unfettered joy from your eye at his first couple skate!
“A Kid’s Life” is made up of the stories we all have to tell about our childhoods, and how we managed to escape that nerve-wracking time alive and in one piece.
It’s guaranteed to bring a smile to anyone who has ever been a kid.
About the Author
Robert D. Goeman survived his childhood and is now older than most buildings. The author has done numerous things (all legal) in order to earn a living. As a present day 8th-grade math teacher, he deals with boys who do much the same kinds of things that he did. Living in happy solitude among mesas, turquoise, and his favorite dust bunnies, he could really use a puppy.
