About the Book

This book is a collection of photographs of patriotic displays and yellow ribbons sent in by real folks all across America.  It has been done in support of our Armed Services... to thank them for their bravery and sacrifice.  To let them know how much we care, and that the honor you have brought to your country can never be repaid.

About the Author

Katherine Franz has been a USAF and US Civil Service professional photographer for over 23 years.  She has taken many military photos in her career, to include the US Air Force Thunderbirds (aerial precision team) and the US Army Golden Knights (parachute team).  She is currently working for the US Army at Ft Monroe, VA as the photographic supervisor for the base, which her photography consists of many VIP and visiting  dignitaries, numerous general officers, congressmen and senators.  Katherine Franz is a military brat who was raised in the military environment, and at a young age saw first hand the impact that war can have on soldiers.
