“He Glamorized Sin”
To make or look good
Gen. 3: 1-6 “was pleasant to the eyes.” Satan or the serpent as referred to in Genesis is alive and doing well. What I mean is Satan is still Glamorizing Sin two thousand years after the Garden incident. Take a close look at Society today, same sex marriages is going on state by state.
Teachers who are given a chance to teach, but what are they teaching. Please understand that its only a few incidents but a few too many. Highway shooting, disgruntle employee’s who walk into their place of employment and began shooting the personal.
Sin is real. The Library where you are suppose to be able to read books, gather information, rent books, but lately, the library has become a place where predators expose themselves to our children who only want to do homework.
Children standing at the bus stop, waiting to go to school and then a car pull up trying to entice them to get into the car. Sin is real.
Drug infected neighborhood, whether Black-White, is a serious problem. I remember some years ago attempting to address this issue. I gather that no one was really concerned. The police want extra pay to patrol the streets that taxpayers are paying for.
Does anyone care about what God’s Word said, “That the strong should bear the infirmities of the weak and not to please ourselves.” (Romans 15:1)
Sin has even crept into our churches. Pastor’s who are gambling with the churches’ money, having sex with the church-goers. Deacons who miss represent the office to which they were called. Again, it is only a few, but a few too many.
God said you reap what you sow. His word reminds us that at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth. And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the Glory of God the Father.
We are told to “do all things without murmuring and disputing. That ye may be blameless and harmless, the son of God, without rebuke in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among who ye shine as lights in the world.” (Philippians 2:10,11,14,15)
But there is a remedy for the sins of man. Jesus the Son of God who came to counter-act this evil that befallen man. The only way to receive this cure is by Faith in Him as a personal Savior.
John writes “and many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book. But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that “Believing ye might have life through his name” (John 20:30,31)
My question is does anyone want to receive this Life through Him?
