He is now retired from The United Methodist Church, serving as a pastor in the North Central Conference of that church for thirty-nine years. He is also a lawyer in New York State and especially in retirement has done many simple wills, real property transfers, and helped in personal relationship situations. More recently, he has enjoyed teaching on a college level The Bible, including Old and New Testaments, Introduction to World Religions, and the Christian Criticism of Life
