It was a cool autumn night in
1974.The wind was blowing the leaves gently past the window. It was a little
past

My mom said that it all started with me sleep walking.
Monday night was just a short stroll. On Tuesday I went for a walk around the
upstairs and downstairs of the house. My mom said that I startled her in the
kitchen. She was baking pies at night, because after us children went to bed
was the only time she had for doing things with no interruptions. My mom said
that being a single mom of four children kept her busy. My mom said that as she
was baking, I came into the kitchen and said “ Captain
it’s far too cold on a night like tonight to have the door open”. She said I
then walked over and closed the door. My mom said that it was really hot in the
kitchen, so she reopened the door. She said that she then followed me and I
then walked around the downstairs part of the house and went back up and got in
bed. When she asked me in the morning, I had no recollection of the walk the
night before. My mom said that Wednesday night was the scariest for her. It was
late and my mom was up rolling her hair in curlers. She had not heard me come
down the stairs. She told me that all of a sudden she was startled by a strange
voice. My mom said that my mouth was moving, but it was not my voice. She said
that it was a rough sounding voice. The voice said, “ Here
is the lantern you wanted captain”. She said that I was saying this while
trying to hand her a plastic Halloween pumpkin. She said that I would not leave
until she took the pumpkin. She followed me as I walked through the house. As I
walked I was saying things that sailors say. My mom said that after about
fifteen minutes I went back to bed. My
mom told me that my sleep walking stopped, but the noises in the attic
increased in frequency. They increased so much, that
we moved in January of 1977.

About the Author
At
eight years of age, the author's experiences began when he heard ghostly
voices outside a schoolhouse that was built
in the 19th century.
The
author had three brushes with death, occurring
between the ages of eight and thirteen. These brushes with death strengthened
his connections to the spirit world, and at age thirteen he saw his first
apparition. At age 16, the frequency and intensity of encounters
increased.
The
author has been a mediator between the
living and spirit world, to help both of them live in harmony together.
The author's encounters expanded
to the point where his abilities allowed him
to communicate with apparitions.
The author has been called to
many haunted locations. He does readings and
then relays his interpretations of what is happening with the
apparitions.
Sometimes
