About the Book

Sometimes second chances are worth taking.  Rick proves this statement to be true when, against all odds, he wins the trust of the Jack, the man he loves with all his heart and soul.  As a result, he brings a broken family together and becomes the rock the family needs to stay together in this heart-warming tale of two gay men--one the father of two very endearing and lovable boys--trying to make a relationship work in a world and a society meant to keep them apart.

About the Author

Brian Fletcher was born October 17, 1974 in Richwood, West Virginia, and was raised on Mills Mountain near Cowen, West Virginia, where he currently resides.  A perfectionist by nature, he subjected the original manuscript to seven re-edits in order to achieve the final draft.  He has been writing stories and poetry since the age of 13, and currently has several other book manuscripts in original form awaiting typing and editing.  He is “out” to his family and friends and enjoys a network of unfailing support from those that love him.  His other interests include quilt-making, working jigsaw puzzles, cooking, socializing, and spending quality time with family and friends.  He chats regularly in Internet chat rooms and welcomes any constructive feedback on his works.
