About the Author

A Missouri native, Harold V. Bray, Jr. is a graduate of Westminster College in Fulton, MO. He has a master’s degree from the University of Missouri/Columbia, a doctorate in psychology from United States International University in San Diego, CA and a doctorate in theology from Andersonville Baptist Seminary in Camilla, GA. He is currently working on a third doctorate in pursuit of holy orders in the Anglican Church in America. He is employed as a clinical psychologist at the VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO where he also serves as volunteer Protestant chaplain. He is a member of the Northern Cherokee Tribe of Missouri and Arkansas, where he is a Tribal Council Member and Spiritual Advisor for the 12,000-member nation. Dr. Bray and his wife, Suzanne, live in Poplar Bluff, MO with their four children.
