You know your sister loves you when she DOESN’T let go of you while hangin’ your head over the “one-hol’r”. Even tho I’m SURE the temptation was a sure threat to ME! You see, Martha had a hairbrush that I figr’d I needed more than she did at the moment. Well, after all, SHE had the beautiful hair and I needed more care of MY baby fine hair. Naturally, I found a good hidn’ place in which I was determined NOT to share with her… Sooooo, when the fight began and she dragged me screaming to the “outhouse”, I found myself hanging from her hands over that deep, smelly hole full of “you know what”! I figr’d the time for my famous “strong will” was better used in a less threatening situation. Even one so young has her pride to consider. I’ve often wondered if she really wud’ve dropped me headfirst in that hole if I hadn’t reconsidered .

Put culard clothes in watter where white clothes soaked. Let them stay till white clothes boil. Take out and rinse. And put them in the watter the white clothes boiled. Let stay 20 minutes. Take out and rinse well.
