About the Book

For a thousand years, strangers visited Earth from a parallel universe, co-existing peacefully until something went terribly wrong.  As the parallel world wasted away, its rulers sought refuge amongst us.  Those who were sympathetic to our existence destroyed the gateways to protect our world.

When Professor Miles Bradley ventures to the Amazon rain forest, he stumbles upon a long lost city, hidden for centuries.  Warned by his guides to abandon his search, he eagerly ventures onward, only to vanish unexpectedly.

Engrossed by the unbelievable tale, attracted to Miles' beautiful assistant, and with his own life being threatened, Miles’ former understudy, Dr. Michael Carson cannot resist the adventure.  It is an adventure that leads him not only into the depths of the Amazon but into another world, where many things, and people, are not as they seem.

Discovering the intentions of a madman whom is planning to use the ancient gateways to colonize Earth, Michael must choose whether to accept an offer of unprecedented power, or find a way to stop the conquest.  He must decide whether he can save both worlds, or if he will cause their destruction.  For it is only Michael who can stop his own evil twin…
