B.T. takes out her nine-iron and
lofts her ball high into the air and it lands in the middle of the green and
stops 45-feet from the hole. Nun decides to try her pitching wedge to put her
ball onto the green. She sends her ball rolling quickly toward the green and
her ball stops 60-feet from the cup. As everyone is walking up to the green
they spot Captain Charisma on the left side of the green with his nine-iron in
his hand. Nun walks over and asks, “What are you doing dear?” Captain Charisma
answers, “I found my ball here by the green and I am trying to figure out where
I want to put it on the green.” He hits his ball high into the air and it lands
near the center of the green and rolls to a stop 40-feet
from the hole. A.A. lines up his shot and sends it on its way and it stops
short by 20-feet. Nun reads the green and sends her ball to the right side of
the hole and it stops short by 15-feet. B.T. lines up her shot and sends it on
its way and it falls in for par. Captain Charisma looks over the green and sends
his ball racing toward the hole and it rolls past the cup and stops 8-feet
away. A.A. looks over his shot and sends his ball racing toward the hole and it
runs past the hole and stops 6-feet away. Nun tries it again and sends her ball
slowly toward the cup and it falls in for bogey. Captain Charisma lines up his
shot and sends it on its way and it runs past the cup by 2-feet. A.A. looks
over the green and sends his ball on its way and it runs past the cup by
1-foot. Captain Charisma sends his ball on its way and it falls in for bogey.
A.A. taps in for double bogey.
The scores after two holes
Captain Charisma 8
Nun 12
B.T. 8
A.A. 11
As the group approaches the third
tee Captain Charisma says, “B.T. you can tee off first on this hole.” B.T.
says, “Thank you for the honor Captain Charisma.” B.T. tees up and reads the
yardage marker for the hole. It reads THIS IS A PAR 3 300-yard hole. B.T. takes
out her driver and smashes a tremendous drive 280-yards
down the right side of the fairway. Captain Charisma takes a mighty swing and
his ball travels 50-yards down the middle of the fairway. A.A. grabs his 30-30
again this time looking for any flying object (hawks or hang gliders) to make
sure nothing else happens to Captain Charisma’s ball. Unfortunately A.A. does
not see a squirrel run onto the fairway and pick up Captain Charisma’s ball and
take off with it. As A.A. is starting to put his rifle away he spots the
squirrel running down the fairway with Captain Charisma’s golf ball. He
screams, “Why does this always happen to him!” A.A. is getting upset that
something has happened to help Captain Charisma on every hole they have played
so far. He walks over to his bag and reaches into a hidden pocket and pulls out
his favorite refreshment and quickly drains it before anyone can see him with
it. A.A. tees up and hits a screaming line drive 290-yards
onto the green where his ball stops 65-feet from the hole. Nun tees up and
launches a terrific drive 275-yards down the left side
of the fairway. Nun walks down and locates her ball and decides to use her
nine-iron for her approach shot to the green. She lofts her ball into the air
and it lands 20-feet from the hole and it bounces once and rolls into the cup
for birdie. As Nun reaches into the cup to remove her ball she feels another
ball in the cup with hers. She picks up both balls and says, “Captain I have
found your ball here in the hole.” Captain Charisma runs up and asks, “Are you
sure it is my ball dear?” She answers, “I’m sure that it is your ball dear. I
recognize your mark right here near the brand name on the ball.” He looks at it
and says, “Wow my ball was already in the hole. I had no idea where it was
after that squirrel took off with it after I hit my tee shot. So I guess that I
get a hole in one on this hole dear.” Nun says, “I guess you do dear and hands
him his golf ball and walks off.” B.T. finds her ball and decides to use her
pitching wedge and rolls her ball up onto the green and it rolls right into the
cup for birdie. A.A. locates his ball and decides to use his nine-iron for his
next shot and lofts his ball onto the green and it rolls into the cup for
birdie.
The scores are as follows after
three holes:
Captain Charisma 9
Nun 14
B.T. 10
A.A. 13
The foursome get to the fourth
tee and B.T. says to Captain Charisma, “Since you let me tee off first last
time I will let you tee off first this time.” Captain Charisma says, “Thank you
for letting me have the honor B.T.” Captain Charisma reads the yardage marker
for the hole, which says THIS IS, A 330-YARD PAR 4
Hole with a slight angle to the right. Captain Charisma tees up and as he is
getting ready to hit his ball he hears a loud burping sound come from behind
him. He turns to see A.A. standing just behind him with an empty can in his
hand. Captain Charisma walks over and asks, “How many refreshments have you had
today?”
