About the Book

Many unusual, if not unique, experiences are concisely presented in 48 vignettes covering a span of about 50 years.  From a five year old picking wild strawberries on hills south of San Francisco to later having pets that included a wild fox, a mustang on an alfalfa ranch in Nevada, a bear and a skunk in Orangevale near Sacramento, to early marriage, to gay conversion, to love and death, to a long term, long distance relationship.  Interesting tidbits about mink sperm tests, taxidermy, cockfights, scuba diving, soap operas and travels to Brazil, Europe, China and Kenya are included.

The book is divided into three sections: Roots followed by Love, Sex, and Relationships followed by Advice.  The later may provide more humor than suggestions one would actually want to use.
