About the Book

The last story of the Princess Ann Trilogy opens after the deep space tug, the Princess Ann, has retrieved the super freighter as they originally set out to accomplish in book 1.  The evil creatures, the Garsh, use asteroids to smash the world that hold their members who were captured on the Ist pirate ship.  James Flint, the young photojournalist, who had confronted  the Garsh on that pirate ship, accompanies the Princess Ann to save those on the stricken planet.  Their dour Psych-Navigator, Dr. Death, has them rescue the grand inquisitor of the Sixth Legion, the enforcement arm of the Order of Psych-Navigators.  The inquisitor arrests their Captain, the Oracle and James for interfering with the plans of the Order.  James Flint is thrown into the power struggle between those who want to negotiate for the Garsh’s knowledge and the few that know the Garsh represents an ancient evil whose ultimate aim is the enslavement of mankind.

About the Author

Charles F Angwin has worked in the aerospace industry for thirty years.  He was drawn to it from his youngest days when he read every science fiction book that the local library had to offer.  Growing up in the era when science fiction stories revolved around the then unknowns of space, the mysteries of the universe,  prompted him to pursue science and engineering.  The style of hard science fiction of the 1950s and 60s seems to have faded as science peels back the unknown with ever more minutia.  Many mysteries still exist.  This trilogy represents the author’s views of the remaining unknowns mixed with adventure and hard science.
