About the Book
Faded Miracles gives an
account of a life surrendered to Christ, and sincere devotion to a family. Desiring to know God since childhood,
reveals the timing of the Holy Spirit.
The overwhelming love for children proves to be the motivating factor
for seeking God. The occurrence of a
life-changing experience explains the surmounted hunger and thirst after
righteousness for the following thirty-nine years (to date).
Faded Miracles gives an
account of one treading through the barrenness of a serious health encounter. An ovarian cancer survivor for six years, presently confronted with the multitude of symptoms
that accompany an incurable liver disorder.
This book gives a clear record of
a walk through continued wilderness.
Documented, life threatening situations dictated previous years. When extended life seems a myth, Jesus whispers that
long life is satisfied.
Illness continually shouts
suggestions, and temporal shadows smolder while hoping to detain. In times there has been a minute flicker of
despair, but cannot catch one off guard.
God’s mercy quickly sends a flare of correction. Each time a prayer is directed upward, the
Father’s heart is pained, bringing instant rescue screaming, with hope again
sustained.
Let this record show that Jesus
shines much brighter than the answers.
Trials lose their place in total trusting, as the Holy Spirit hovers
gently over to console. Jesus conquered
all in His surrender, and no matter the need or provision that merits reward,
redeeming love engulfs life.
Peace and joy have never been
stronger. God’s Word is the counsel, and
His truth the great physician. Hope can
seem so distant, but those are not God’s thoughts. Believe anyway. Experience may conflict, but keep on
believing.
Miracles bow down in all their
splendor, as they seem to fade in His presence.
Jesus shines much brighter than the answers, resulting in faded miracles.

The love for the Lord, and the love for her family initiated the writing of
this book. Cherished children have been
the driving factor that kept her focused on Christian education, and ministry
to children. She has been involved in teaching boys and girls for more than
thirty years.
God saw her through extremely
difficult times. Surviving prolonged health conditions illumined the beauty of
Christ, creating more desire for Jesus than answers to her health questions.
