Part Five: NOW HEAR THIS
This is the first of eleven volumes of In Search Of Truth. Each volume will carry three parables to
teach the Absolute Truth of God's Word through His Son. Why three?
Three parables were chosen only
because that is the way that the Spirit of God has led me to do it. Maybe it is because the number '3' represents
"accomplishment,” or "resurrection,” and the Lord wants
to resurrect some of us from our beds of afflictions, bondages, or
slothfulness. The Godhead is a
Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy
Ghost. Man himself was created a
trinity: spirit, soul, and body. Both of these are great accomplishments.
Jonah was in the belly of the whale three days and three nights; Jesus
was in the heart (bowels) of the earth three days and three nights, and there
were even three men on the cross the day of The Crucifixion- a miraculous
resurrection in all three cases; Jonah out of the whale's belly, Jesus out of
the grave, and the repentant thief from the anguish of hell!

"It's a trick," he thought to himself. "After I passed out, I was brought
here."
He was convinced that he was the prisoner of a practical joke or a
kidnapping; but the heat! His sweat
glands seemed to dehydrate and his body commenced to parch and peel. The heat began to feel as though it was IN
his skin and the aggravating pain caused him to bellow a loud.
"YEOWW!
SOMEBODY, PLEASE HELP ME!"
With his hands over his face, Greg stood up on his knees and for the
first time since he could remember, he felt humble. His money and possessions were not even on
his mind, only ridding himself of this immediate pain and suffering. Again he cried out in agony.
"SOMEBODY PLEASE! PLEASE
HELP ME!"
"Too late, Mister Dorset."
The deep solemn voice startled Greg, causing him to jump in
response. He snatched his hands from his
face to quickly behold the origin of the voice.
The water in his eyes blurred his vision somewhat, so he wiped his hand
across his face for clearer perception.
When his sight focused, he could see the silhouettes of two men. They were several yards away directly in
front of him.
