The Heart
What kind of heart do you
have? Is it hot and zealous toward the
Lord, or is it cool and halfhearted? Or
is it lukewarm? (The answer is in Psalm
51: 10-12 - Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit
within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from
me. Restore to me the joy of your
salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me). Pray for a renewed and zealous heart for the
Lord.
Do you have a “brokenheart”? Many
things in life can give us a brokenheart or a wounded
heart. It can be from the loss of a
mate, relative, friendship, or a disappointment in circumstances in our
life. Many reasons cause the problem. Thank God there is a solution and answer
(Psalm 34:18 - The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are
crushed in spirit).
There are numerous kinds of heart
conditions in the Word. Do you have a
loving, joyful, peaceful heart? A heart of mercy and compassion? All these are good conditions to have and
many more.
But if you have any of the less
than perfect conditions of the heart, the Bible has an answer for each
one. A bitter heart? An unforgiving heart? A depressed and despairing
heart? A
contrite and crushed heart? Isn’t
that interesting? We think it’s a negative,
but God say’s it’s good in his sight!
(Psalm 51:17 - The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and
contrite heart, O God, you will not despise).
Do you have a humble heart before
the Lord, or a prideful heart? Do you
have a trusting and believing heart, or a heart of doubt and unbelief? Do you have a heart of faith and wisdom? What about an unstable heart, trusting one
day and not trusting the next?

About the Book
God’s
grace is available to all of his people.
All we have to do is believe and appropriate His grace in our
lives. This book is about my personal
life and testimony of how God’s wonderful grace has restored my life, and also
some thoughts on what I have learned from walking with the Lord for 30 years.
My
prayer is that Gods people who read this will be encouraged and strengthened to
go all the way with God and to finish the race strong so God can say to you,
“Well done, thou good and faithful servant”. (NIV Matthew 25:21 - "His
master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful
with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your
master's happiness!')
Also
my prayer is that anyone who reads this book and does not have a personal
relationship with the Lord, will pray the prayer of
salvation. May God bless everyone who
reads this book.
