About the Author
The author was born in
After a seven year stint in the
US Navy as a Nuclear Power Plant Operator on various nuclear submarines, he was selected for
a position in the United States Border Patrol. The author served more than 27
years in the US Border Patrol with nine of those years serving as a Firearms
Instructor at the
He retired in 1996, but was
rehired two years later to once again teach Border Patrol Agent Trainees the
art of defensive weapon craft.
